Sure hope our introduction into 2011 is not a sign of how the rest of the year will be! While Luke’s been at the hospital with a sick Peanut I’ve been home with a sick Tornado. Poor little T.R. threw up right before I was about to bring her home from the ER friday night. She also started with a fever by the time we got home and it only got worse until the thermometer showed 102.2 and I called the doc. They tested her for the flu, ear infection, and UTI all of which came back negative. Doc thinks it’s just some other virus (maybe the same one that was causing Peanut’s fevers, runny nose, and cough and ended her in the hospital with the bleeding?) and she should be over it soon. Her temps have been a lot better today and she’s actually crying for (and keeping down) some milk! The hardest part has been that she wont let me leave her side and refuses to sleep anywhere but in my arms. She’s started with congestion and cough last night/today so here’s to another sleepless night! ;)
About
We were married in February of '06 and our little peanut joined us in May of '07. She was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia that September and received her liver transplant the following March. Our second baby girl arrived as a Christmas present this last year right before we moved into our new house! It has been one big roller coaster of life for us but we have enjoyed and loved every minute of it!
Luke works as a web designer and absolutely loves his job! MaKayle is a registered nurse looking to enter the working class again this year and is also a full time mom and nurse to the little ones.
