I am a very lucky husband when it comes to the Twilight Movies. From the stories I hear from other couples it can get bad with how much the wife likes the movie and has to go see the new one the second it comes out. MaKayle and I both think they are super cheesy. I saw them both with her in the theater. I promised I wouldn’t laugh at anything unless she did. Sure enough she was snickering at the corny acting and effects. She doesn’t want to own them and that makes me very happy. I’m okay with her wanting to go see them because we both and laugh at the sillyness of it all. Thanks MaKalye for agreeing with me on the uber cheesyness of these movies. Sorry for the rest of you that aren’t that lucky.
Cheesy Twilight

Yes, I am a Twilight fan. Yes, I really like the books. Yes, I like the movies. But do I love them? No.
I’m an avid reader. I LOVE to read (mostly fantasy stuffs) and it’s always fun for me to be able to see a book come to life in a movie. Sometimes the movies are better than the book but most of the time, like 95%, the book is much better than the movie. In my opinion, that is the case for Twilight. I agree with Luke that the acting is poor and the movie in and of itself is cheesy. Edward and Bella (Robert and Kristin) pretty much drive me bonkers! Yes, I’ve seen Twilight numerous times and saw New Moon in the theaters twice and will probably rent it when it comes out this month but I have no desire to own them. (Maybe I will someday if they ever cost less than $8.)
And just for anyone who’s curious…I’m a Jacob fan. I was before the movies and most definitely am after the movies!

Hey Luke! Your blog is awesome (both visuals and content). You guys are funny.I just blogged about the ridiculousness of twilight.
